"We dedicate this record to our dear and admired friend Cándido Mijares, with our deepest thanks for every moment we have shared musically with him". Gustavo Gregorio and Israel Sandoval

Feb. 29th of 2008 was one of those magical nights where madness, love, vertigo and musical search, embrace in a space and turn the halo of the intangible into music. Listening this recording after more than a decade, it has brought me the aroma of that moment, of three people who were something different then, who were the seed of what we are today and listening them playing, I can feel like a search in a wild sea that belongs to the universe of the unresolved. Unrepeatable nostalgia.

GUSTAVO GREGORIO Bassist, Composer, Arranger, Orchestrator, Producer, Writer, Screenwriter
I will remember this concert all my life, it was an unique day in my life in which I felt surrounded by a very special aura when playing with these two great musicians. Being jazz standards that we already knew, we did not need any rehearsal and we met directly at the place a while before starting, and for this very reason is that the magic of the moment was present in the improvisations and in the endings, entering into some cosmic climates of natural hallucination as if guided by a higher energy to which we hooked ourselves plethoric and enjoying so much every moment. This release is a dream come true. Thank you very much Koshkil Records.
